A superb winner five minutes from the end by James Begley saw Mals deservedly beat Lisburn Rangers 3-2 at Stanley Park in a tense, entertaining game. Mals were one nil down at the break after an even first half with Mals keeper Niall Largey making several outstanding saves. James Begley equalised shortly after the break finishing off an impressive, flowing Mals move before the home side went back in front. Pearse McAuley equalised again soon after following a corner but it was that man Begley who grabbed victory late on with a sweet low drive to the corner after a surging run. Well done to all concerned. The seconds were beaten 4-1 at home by Ards Rangers. Marty Reilly scored the Mals goal.Up the Mals !
